Winco Fireworks Shipping Policy
Shipping Policy. Winco Fireworks International, LLC carefully pulls orders to insure that our customers receive their fireworks in original condition and as ordered. Winco Fireworks International, LLC negotiates the lowest shipping costs with different freight companies that deliver throughout the United States.
Shipping costs are based on shipment weight and destination so the more an order weighs and/or the farther you are from us, the more the total freight charge will be. Based on the weight/# of pallets and destination zip code, some shipments may qualify for a volume quote. You can request a freight quote when placing your order. We ship full truck loads, as well as, less than truck loads (LTL).
Customers of Winco Fireworks International, LLC can receive or pick up their order in four different ways:
- Delivery to a business address – full truck loads or less than truck loads
- Delivery to a residential address – (please note that there is an additional charge for this option).
- Terminal pickup – delivery to a your local trucking terminal where you can go and pick-up the fireworks.
- Pick-up at Winco Fireworks International, LLC (14140 Botts Road, Grandview, MO 64030). Picking up the shipment from Winco Fireworks International, LLC avoids any shipping costs all together and allows our customers to meet face to face with a Winco Fireworks International, LLC sales representative. Please note orders must be placed in advance and an appointment for pick up is necessary for this option.
Fireworks Shipping Restrictions
Winco Fireworks International, LLC will only ship items that are legally permitted at the shipping destination. Please be knowledgeable about your state firework law. Please refer to the following link for your state law – https://pyro.memberclicks.net/state-law-directory.
Please call your sales representative if you would like an estimated delivery date. Please note that transit times do NOT include the date of shipment, weekends or holidays. A call to notify delivery on LTL shipments will result in a one day delivery delay.
Missing or Damaged Goods
Winco Fireworks International, LLC ships all orders in excellent condition. The fireworks are inspected and the boxes we use are designed to transport fireworks. Winco Fireworks International, LLC recommends that you inspect the firework boxes and ensure the correct number of cases arrived when you receive your order with the delivery driver present. If the exterior of the boxes are visibly damaged (water damage, rips, major dents, etc), Winco Fireworks International, LLC recommends that you open the boxes with the delivery driver present. Take note on the bill of lading of any damaged or missing fireworks before signing the bill of lading. Please contact your sales representative immediately after your discovery of the damaged goods and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If you discover that the fireworks have been damaged after you receive your order, please call your sales representative and let us know the details. Upon your order being prepared to ship, your sales representative will send you an email to provide you with the name of the trucking company, tracking # and contact telephone number to track your order. With this information you can receive up to date tracking information by using the web site or toll free telephone number.
