Meet Bobbie! Bobbie is in Accounts Receivable located at the corporate office in Grandview, Missouri. Bobbie specializes in..well..everything! With Winco for over 8 years, she primarily worked the front office at the warehouse and was Director of First Impressions 😊 Bobbie did everything from order entry, shipping and receiving, directing traffic – literally directing drivers and customers to docking areas. She ensured paperwork was complete in accordance with DOT regulations, pulled premiums and now working in accounting. And she is the third brother/sister pair to work at Winco.

How did you get started with Winco?

My brother Neil let me know of a seasonal opening for the warehouse’s front office. My seasonal position turned full time and now 8 years later I am in Accounts Receivable.

Share a “Classic” fireworks story from your time with Winco

Laura Basye stories are always the best. My favorite would have to be when the sales team decided to pick up pizzas for the warehouse and production crews. Laura was in charge of the ordering and picking up. She ordered 20ish pizzas to pick up and deliver to the crew the following day. It was not until she picked up said pizza until she realized that she had actually ordered from Papa Murphy’s and you do in fact have to cook this pizza.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, when not consumed with refereeing 3 kids and 3 60 pound dogs I enjoy curling up with a good book and a glass of wine or binging a good series on tv. I do love to bake as well. I love going to concerts, I see The Dirty Heads and Sublime with Rome any time they come through KC. Hoping to increase travel again, the mountains are calling my name!
