How long have you been working for Winco?
I’ve worked for Winco a little over 10 years.
How did you get started with Winco?
I started off at the Lone Jack warehouse. I owned and operated a deli and pizzeria in Pleasant Hill, MO and after the economy crashed, I was looking for some extra work and ended up at the Lone Jack warehouse. I was then invited down by Mike Fleener to help him out at the Mississippi warehouse and I haven’t looked back.
What is your favorite firework?
My new favorite firework is the Gunfighters from Hell. Love the duration and excitement the 500-gram cake brings to the table.
Share a “Classic” fireworks story from your time with Winco.
My classic firework story isn’t so classic. It happened this season. We went from not having enough space to pull orders or hardly move, to having almost a completely empty warehouse! Epic season for sure!
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like to travel, do DYI projects, play golf, and enjoy a nice meal! And spend time with my dogs!
