American Rockets—These rockets on sticks have a plastic nose cone and generally are the largest rockets.

American Shells—These are night display fireworks shot out of a tube. They range in size from approximately 1" in diameter to over 15" in diameter. Some consist of several tubes on a board.

Assortments—Pre-packed boxes containing a variety of products and at all price ranges. Our shrink wrapped packages are our most popular items.

Bottle Rockets—Small 1/4" diameter motors on sticks about 12" long. Very inexpensive and popular sellers. Quality varies greatly. The Black Cat brand consistently out performs all others.

China Rockets—The China Rockets are like the American Rockets but without the plastic nose cone. These are good inexpensive rockets.

China Shells—This is a tube that shoots an aerial up to varying heights before exploding into a colorful display and are imported from China.

Cones—As the name says, these fountains are shaped like cones, with the fuse on top. Cones are safe low fountains.

Firecrackers—BLACK CAT (The staple of most fireworks stands), when someone asks for "Black Cats" these firecrackers are what they have in mind. These come in small strips of 12 to giant rolls of over 16,000.

Firecrackers—GENERIC (non Black Cat brands of firecrackers), generally poorer quality than Black Cat firecrackers.

Fountains—Pretty sprays, crackles, whistles and other visual and audible effects. These items do not explode or shoot into the air. They emit showers of sparks and come in a variety of sizes

Missles—Missles are rocket motors in cylinders that are supported and guided by fins.

Multiple Effects—These are also known as "cakes". They shoot more than one effect into the sky where they explode into colorful displays. One fuse ignites the entire item and it shoots all tubes in a predetermined sequence.

Novelty—This category encompasses a wide variety of fireworks that stay on or near the ground. They spin, roll, shoot sparks and are fun for older children.

Parachutes—A tube is used to shoot up a cylinder that upon reaching its intended height, explodes out one or more parachutes.

Punks—These are non-hazardous incense sticks used to ignite fireworks.

Re-loadable Shells—These are also generically called Artillery Shells. These are the one of the most popular items at most fireworks stands. One tube is used to shoot one shell at a time until all shells are shot. Generally one tube is sufficient to shoot 12 shots. Winco has consistently led the industry in development of the highest quality and most popular Reloadable Shells with our Black Cat line, including the Pro Mag and Pro 4.

Roman Candles—Long cylinders that propel up to 10 flaming balls with varying effects.

Salutes—A tube approximately 2" long and 3/4" diameter with a waterproof fuse that contains the same amount of pyrotechnic composition as a firecracker.

Smoke Items—These include balls, cylinders, canisters, and other items that upon ignition shoot different colors of smoke.

Sparklers—Wooden or wire sticks that are usually handheld. The sticks are coated with materials that make them sparkle.

Spinners—Spinners are designed to spin on the ground usually producing colorful rings.

Wheels—Items designed to be loosely nailed to a post and when lit, the force of the propellant forces the item to rotate-resembling a wheel.

Wings—These devices resemble oblong items with paper or plastic wings which, when spun rapidly cause the item to rise into the air and explode and produce colorful displays.
